Highway 50, dubbed 'America's loneliest highway' a motorcycle ride that artist shawn harris took from San Francisco to Salt Lake City and back to San Francisco in 2008. Riding a 2006 Honda Shadow v-twin 750 cruiser, shawn drove the loneliest highway stopping overnight in the great town of Austin, Nevada, sleeping in the wagon in front of the International Saloon. Austin, the great summer of the potato bug fire, 2008. The photo on this page is a composite of shawn harris, a motorcyle and flames being shot out of the exhaust. Looking stright down the double lane highway there is a fake comic-like feel with small puffy clouds and a wide angled lense forcing a low perspective. shawn is the photographer and can be found making pictures and large size wall art in the san francisco bay area.
