'Today I was a pilot' is an image from the series of "Today I was...". This group of photographs are from a collection of really great locations, I photographed them but have always felt like they needed a person in the scene to move the story forward, to establish a narrative. This idea become a vehicle for me to explore the concept of being an unemployed photographer who is utilizing his time by trying to improve his craft. In the process of doing so, I wonder what it would be like to do a lot of different things, as unqualified as I am to do anything else beside be an artist, there are so many different dreams that make me wonder about the possibilities.
